The making of beats

As you may, or may not know, Dean Dunakin (of Bounte) and I run a small sampling/beat design company called Beatserv. If Atomica Project ever fully fails me, I will sit in a corner, sulk, and make beats all day. Not a terrible way to go, really.

If you haven't visited our site yet, there are some great series packages full of sounds, beats, variations of said beats - and then there are smaller sound packs. These are full of well thought out and functional samples for Live and NI Battery. We just released our 2nd sound pack called "Detroit." It has nothing at all to do with techno, what that city is so famous for, but rather is a collection of raw sounds from the city itself and some glitched out, processed variations of these sounds. We will be doing the same with Chicago, New York, and possibly L.A. Go have a look!
