I opened up my old computer this weekend and threw in a new motherboard, some new RAM, and a new Intel processor. Oh, and this giant fan thingy that now takes up about 1/2 of my available space. I'd been building sessions for the new EP that barely played back on my old machine. Now, they barely tap the processor. 15% at the most. So, yay computer! In celebration, I did more work on the EP yesterday than I had all month. Chris released a bad ass new AD compressor just in time for me to try to push my system around. Which I did.
So, this poll we asked everyone to vote for over at Deli Magazine - we won in a landslide. Thank you for all of your votes! However, it turns out we really only won a nomination for the poll we thought we were in (and a nice banner at the top of their site, which seems to be generating lots of traffic!). So now, compose yourself, and go give us another vote! If last week were the primaries, this is the real election. It's simple, just click our circle.
The best 60 seconds of 2008 - name yours.
As for me, I have a 8 way tie this year. Yeah, I can't believe it, but I had a good year after all.
You know, this is quite a bit of fun for me.

UPDATE: In case you didn't quite catch that, below is the original photo.
A. Please don't wear pajamas outside. A with clause: Extra please don't wear pajamas outside if you're overweight. Take the necessary time to get dressed. Seriously. That's just stupid.
B. Does anyone know of a national/federal movement to ban call phone use while driving? Illinois already has a law in place. They also have laws against selling Senate seats to the highest bidder, and you know how preventative that was. Instead of bitching about how stupid people eating sandwiches and talking on their phones nearly murder someone every single day, I though I'd join an organization. More productive.
I rented a Pontiac Vibe this weekend. It's identical to the Toyota Matrix. This one was a 2009 AWD model. I need. I want, I will have. I'm already charging my cell phone and making some meat wraps to rock in my new car.
