on another note. I'm all-over Allison Krauss and Robert Plants' new album - it makes no sense at all and yet works remarkably well.
Man, our March 23 show is really creeping up on me. I've been extra busy with the condo repairs, putting in some extra hours with Ella, mastering the long awaited Grayscale, and working with the brilliant Mr. Dunakin on the new Flagrant store. Apparently, we have a show coming up.
I've had to fully downplay this one since we have a very Big Deal release party coming up in a bit at the same venue. An inherent conflict of interests. But it's going to be pretty cool. We have some weird, slow, reworked versions of Bittersweet, Larsen, and Quiver - a dub version of Delorian, complete with a triplet delay on the rimshot - an acoustic guitar version of Recent, and a Lenny Kravitz cover. Of course, this is all in theory at the moment as we haven't really practiced yet. L and I will work out all the details this week and hopefully see some of you on Sunday!
