Hope everyone has a great one. I'm off to Denver for the next 5 days!

is my hero. I went and saw her on Thursday night and I don't think I have ever been so blown away by a performer. She was exhausting just to watch and certainly kept me on my feet wanting more. You owe it to yourself to check her out. She's what Amy Winehouse ought to be.

It's been months. I fell off the blog wagon. It was starting to feel weird and forced and weird. but now Wade's a traveling and I feel someone ought to pick up the slack. I cannot promise eloquent prose or daily paragraphs but I will try to put a little something out every now and again.

that being said, I figure you all know that we are getting oh so very near to releasing our long awaited 2nd album. I'm pretty excited about it all and figured it was high time to get some feelers out for some sort of promotional street team. thoughts? I'm all ears.

I'm better, for the most part. it's been a weird, uncharacteristic winter for me. the last 2 winters have been. Now that I live in close quarters with a germ machine, seems i need to take better care of myself. But for now, all is well. I'm making last minute preparations for the Chemlab tour - as ready as I'm going to be.

I went out to the Darkroom on Sunday, a lot of fun. It was practically a going away party, got to see most of my friends, Matt Cordier, Dean, Ned, Andrew, the iScintiila folks, Arunas . . good times.

Ella was a total angel yesterday, took a 3 hour nap, started saying "meow" - I'm going to miss her terribly. The road ain't no place to start a family, or some such Journey sentiment.

So, that's it kiddo's. Not sure how much I'll be blogging for the next 30 days, not sure if I'll make it home in 1 piece, not sure if the tour will be good or a disaster. I'm optimistic that it'll be a good time and that I'll gain all of the experience I'm hoping to gain with live sound and recording. Jared and I have been friends forever, I'm good friends with Jason (SMP) and everyone else seems on the up and up. There are 4, count 'em, 4 less people in the van than last time I toured and none of them are the infamous Levi Levi, so who knows. With all the touring I've done in my life, I'd really like to have the good memories follow me around and not the bad ones. Lots to look forward to when I get home. We'll get the Atomica record out the door at some point, I'm very close to done with writing for the Milkfish record, I'm working on an over compressed house/Daft Punkish record under the moniker "Control*" - that'll be fun. Ned and I are talking about a side project - I'll be bumpin' out some Scanalyzer beats on the road so Chris and I will be getting around to that eventually. It's gonna be a busy 2008!

I left you guys a Grayscale related present on our Myspace page, enjoy!
