I just thought it’d be cool. Give me some more experience with recording, live being the only area I haven’t thoroughly explored at this point. Then Dean and I started talking about the practical use of good live recordings for musicians. Then we started talking about how many indie bands there are in Chicago. And then we started talking about widgets and streaming audio and Sonic Bids and Myspace and all kinds of other garbage.
Long story short, we’re going to take a little minimal risk adventure in mobile recording starting this Sunday, where we will be checking out the Rode NT4 stereo mic to see if it fits the bill for room recording. Nothing fancy just yet, but this seems like a good idea as far as audio related services go and we'll expand upon it as time goes on.
