I'm fighting off the cold from hell this week. Ella was sick last week, Catherine - earlier this week, and now it's coming after me and my immune system of steel. I'm feeling okay, but I haven't gotten anything at all done this week.

I'm off to Detroit on Sunday, doing sound for the SK guys. We'll continue this little saga next week.

i'm almost done with track #10 for the record, just waiting on one of those classic larsen style rhodes solos from percy. i still haven't been able to get ahold of the MC that did the track for me so many years ago. if anyone in seattle knows a band called "the high children" have jamaal drop me a line.

i'm also pretty submerged in the artwork right now. i'll be doing some font shopping this time around . . it's been a long, long time since i've cared about or considered fonts, but the artwork warrants a decent type selection.

we had korg, our wonderful 13 year old cat, euthanized this afternoon. he had been struggling with intestinal cancer for the last few months and kind of stopped moving around all together this past weekend. it was, as expected, a horrible experience. he was purring down to his last breath.

Today wasn't quite as easy, as we were being controlled by a small unhappy little girl for most of it. We did make it to Central Park Zoo and had a great dinner at a UWS Indian restaurant. It's weird (good weird) staying at a huge condo on Riverside, considering we lived in a nasty railroad apartment in Brooklyn back when we lived here.

I saw Percy for like 10 minutes last night, he was rushing off to go see The Birthday Massacre, and we were rushing off to go change diapers. We'll see him again for breakfast tomorrow morning.

I have to go into my work this afternoon and set up a session . . I'm doing a really cool job for the Biography Channel. Seriously, it's all David Lynch and messed up. I'm rather impressed with the whole thing, considering it's network cable television.
