I've spent the better of the last 2 weeks putting together tracks for my friend, Jim Semonik. He's a nice young chap that books pretty much everyone coming through Pittsburgh. I've done a lot of shows with him and he's been instrumental in the "success" of anything and everything I've done. I mean, if anyone looks at me as successful, it's probably a 24 year old girl in Pittsburgh, you know what I'm sayin'.

Jim got cancer a couple years back and has endured things I can only imagine and squirm uncomfortably thinking about. So, I'm helping his cause as much as I possibly can. He has a 4 CD compilation coming out in support of Cancer Research. On said comp, you will find an iScintilla track, an Atomica Project track, a Christ Analogue track, and a Chemlab track that I've put my dirty hands on in one way or another. Anyway, it's been a load of work and a bit of fun doing this and I'll let you know when it becomes available.

For reasons beyond our control, we've had to push our tour back to the first week of September. We're, unfortunately, back to have no idea who our drummer will be and thanking the gods above that Daniel seems to have some flexibility. This gives me a little more time to work on the EP and I'm happy about that. As soon as I finish this Chemlab mix, I'll get right back to work on it.

Wow, what a busy few weeks.

My daughter is now a 3 year old. She sang happy birthday to herself at the party. That was sorta awesome. We had just a small get together consisting of family and past babysitters. These are lean times, and we just couldn't do the 40 people and food trays from Dominick's business we pulled off last year.

The new Atomica Project EP, Overseas, is being currently being written. I have very little time, but a pretty clear idea and a whole lot of inspiration to work with. We're shooting for the end of June for a digital and flash drive release. We're also starting to get set for our August tour. We'll be going out from the 7th to the 16th, the same East Coast cities as last time around. Daniel has been working out great and we've added a new drummer, Leo Pena', to the mix. Both are excellent players, very hard working, easy to get along with people. What more can you ask for?

That's all I've got for now. I'm in the middle of working on the new . . I should say the excellent new i:Scintilla release. I'm doing both a Christ Analogue and a Chemlab track, still poking along with the Bounte release and hopefully a few finished vocal sessions will kick that up a notch, and I'll be doing some recording/production for Corporate X as well as a new Beatserv series in the next few weeks. I'm a busy guy.

We will be @ darkroom here in Chicago, this Friday, May 22nd. Ironically, one day short of the Grayscale release party last year! We'll be playing with our friends Corporate X, and my good friend from Brussels, Fab. It's going to be an excellent show. You can get your advance tickets here. I generally don't think we're a big enough deal to warrant advance tickets, but all 3 of these bands can bring in some people _and_ it's a Friday night so I strongly suggest you pick some up.

This will also be our first show with new keyboardist, Daniel Cain. Yay! And our last show for awhile with drummer Corey McCafferty unless he decides to up and quit his dayjob to tour with us in August. Boo. We love Corey, thinking about our future w/o him sorta blows.

The Flagrant store is back up. Click that shop link at the top of our page to be magically whisked away there. A couple audio streams are still glitchy, but overall it's working.
